THE TALE OF THREE CITIES

Ciara and Mathius, a dynamic couple with homes in London and Berlin, lead high-profile careers that keep them constantly moving. Despite their busy schedules, they made a heartfelt journey back to the northeast of England, where Brancepeth Castle holds a special place in their hearts.
This enchanting medieval castle, nestled just outside Durham City, became the perfect venue for their wedding—a decision made during a nostalgic visit approximately twelve months before their big day. Brancepeth Castle, owned by the Hobbs family, is a hidden gem surrounded by picturesque woodlands and its own quaint village. As a dry-hire venue, it provides historic walls and stunning grounds, allowing couples like Ciara and Mathius to personalise every detail of their celebration.
Donna meticulously planned Ciara and Mathius's wedding, ensuring every detail was executed flawlessly with the help of a curated team of wedding suppliers. Her expertise transformed the couple's vision into reality, creating a memorable celebration that reflected their unique style and preferences.
Mathius's family flew in from Germany to join Ciara's Irish relatives for a classic church ceremony in Durham City. The bride made a memorable walk from Hotel Indigo to the church, setting the tone for an elegant yet relaxed celebration. The festivities continued at Brancepeth Castle with a reception featuring Mathius's family wine from their vineyard and lively Irish dancing led by Ciara herself. Guests enjoyed canapés and champagne on the castle's keep lawn, playing games and savouring pizza into the early morning hours, all amidst an atmosphere of family warmth and joy.
